Predictions, Previews and for La Liga Matchday 4 Games
Real Madrid vs Real Betis
Both come in as leaders in the standings, with three wins each. Real Madrid earned points against Almería (2-1), Celta De Vigo (4-1) and RCD Espanyol (3-1).
Although Vallejo and Odriozola have been bothered by injuries that have led them to train differently, this won’t prevent them from starting the game. Therefore, and despite the fact that next week they will have Champions League matches, Real Madrid will put their best on the field.
Regarding Betis, they have defeated Elche (3-0), R.C.D. Mallorca (1-2) and Osasuna (1-0). Head coach Manuel Pellegrini will have two important additions for this weekend: goalkeeper Claudio Bravo and striker William José, both of whom were finally signed at the end of the European transfer window. Although they could start the game, we will have to see how they adapt to a team that is on a good run.
Real Madrid vs Betis will meet on Saturday, September 3, 2022 for Matchday 4 of La Liga at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium, at 10.00 AM E.T.
Prediction: Real Madrid wins.
Real Sociedad vs Atlético de Madrid
The home team debuted in LaLiga with a win against Cadiz (1-0), but fell to Barcelona at home (1-4) and managed to get back to winning ways after beating Elche (1-0). The latest important news is the signing of Umar Sadiq, a Nigerian striker who joins the Basque club from Almeria for 20,000,000 euros. He is not expected to start, but he is expected to make the substitutes’ bench.
With two victories (3-0 against Getafe in the first matchday and 1-0 against Valencia, both away) and one defeat (2-0 at home against Villarreal), the team coached by Diego Simeone wants to continue its good run as an away team. Yannick Carrasco, a favorite of the Argentine DT, might be one of the 11 starting since his exit didn’t materialize at the close of the European transfer window. Antoine Griezmann, for the time being, will remain on the substitutes’ bench.
Real Sociedad vs Atlético Madrid will play for LaLiga Matchday 4 on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at the Reale Arena, at 12.30 PM E.T.
Prediction: Atlético de Madrid wins.
Sevilla vs Barcelona
The local team comes in with two defeats (2-1 against Osasuna and 2-1 against Alegria, both away) and just a draw against Valladolid at home. Their head coach, Julen Lopetegui, has not found the right lineup and has only put together poor performances in the first three games.
Barcelona are third in the overall standings, with two wins (4-1 against Real Sociedad and 4-0 against Valladolid) and a draw (0-0 against Rayo Vallecano). Xavi Hernández, Barcelona’s DT, will have all the starters available for the match that will close Saturday’s actions of LaLiga’s Matchday 4.
Sevilla vs Barcelona for Matchday 4 of LaLiga will be played on Saturday, September 3, 2022, at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán stadium, at 03.00 PM E.T.
Prediction: Barcelona wins.
