The Eagles’ season so far has been simply spectacular. Beyond some struggles against the Lions in Week 1, Philadelphia has had little trouble winning its last three games.
Jalen Hurts has led the offense with authority despite a somewhat lackluster game against Jacksonville. The quarterback is fifth in air yards with 1,120 and also has four TDs through the air and four on the ground with only two interceptions. The team’s ground attack has also been on pace to rank fifth in yards per game with 165.3, including two 200+ snaps.
If the offense has excelled, the defense is no slouch. After conceding 35 points to Detroit, in weeks two and three opponents were held to eight points while the Jaguars scored 21. They also lead the league in catches (16.0), fumbles recovered (8) and are third in fewest yards allowed per game at 277.3, all before facing an Arizona team that has yet to score more than 30 points.

Despite many inconsistencies in their play, the Cardinals have managed to come out on top and have their record even before taking on the Eagles during Week 5.
After the thrashing received by the Chiefs in the first game of the year, Arizona evened up its performance with good performances by its quarterback, Kyler Murray. The player has three consecutive weeks with more than 200 yards through the air, and, in both of the team’s victories, he scored at least one TD through the air and another on the ground. However, the Cardinals’ offense has yet to surpass 30 points and against the Rams, a team that has a good defense like the Eagles’, they only scored 12 points.
Defensively, things have gone a little better for them. Since giving up 44 points to Kansas City, the Cardinals have managed to only concede 23 points or fewer, and no team has surpassed 340 total yards against them. Another piece of good news before playing against one of the league’s best ground attacks is that the Cardinals are the fifth-best team on defense on the ground, conceding just 87.0 yards per game.
