Betting Preview for UFC 282 Featuring Jan Blachowicz vs Magomed Ankalaev and Other Big Cards on December 10, 2022
Odds provided by Unibet.
Jan Blachowicz (+195) vs Magomed Ankalaev (-250)
Light-heavyweight
This is a fight scheduled at the last minute, but no less exciting for that. The light heavyweight title will be at stake. Blachowicz is coming off a technical knockout win over Aleksandar Rakic on May 14, when his opponent had to abandon due to injury.
Ankalaev is riding a nine-fight winning streak in the UFC. The Russian outpointed Anthony Smith in his most recent octagon appearance.
Prediction: Ankalaev wins by KO.

Paddy Pimblett (-225) vs Jared Gordon (+175)
Lightweight
Pimblett will look to take the next step toward the great success he anticipates having inside the octagon. Despite only being part of the promotion for just under a year, The Baddy has already scored three wins, including two on his home turf in the UK in 2022.
Gordon posted a 3-1 record in his last four outings, beating Leonardo Santos on points last time out in his toughest test to date.
Prediction: Pimblett wins by unanimous decision.

Alex Morono (+150) vs Santiago Ponzinibbio (-175)
Catchweight (180 lbs)
The Argentinean is looking to climb the ladder against a historic UFC fighter. The American already knows what it’s like to hold the welterweight belt. He was crowned champion in December 2014 after defeating Johny Hendricks by split decision, and defended the throne twice: first against Rory MacDonald and then against Carlos Condit. Finally, in July 2016 he was knocked out by Tyron Woodley and could never be the same again.
After more than two years of absence due to various injuries, Ponzinibbio has one win in his last four fights, two of them by split decision and highly controversial.
Prediction: Ponzinibbio wins by unanimous decision.

Darren Till (+140) vs Dricus du Plessis (-175)
Middleweight
Darren Till will be looking to end a period of missteps in the organization. The former belt challenger has won just one of his last five fights. In his last, he lost by unanimous decision to Derek Brunson in the UFC Vegas 36 main event.
Du Plessis is in the opposite situation. The South African has won all three of his fights in the organization, and is coming off a victory over Brad Tavares by unanimous decision at UFC 276.
Prediction: Du Plessis wins by submission.

Bryce Mitchell (+132) vs Ilia Topuria (-165)
Featherweight
After his win over Jai Herbert last March, Topuria has four wins in four UFC fights and remains undefeated. “I feel invincible. I feel that there is nothing that can stop me, that my mind can achieve anything,” said the German.
Mitchell is unbeaten in 15 fights—5 since signing with this organization—and in his last outing he beat Edson Barboza by decision.
Prediction: Topuria wins by KO.
