Betting on the Utah Jazz
The Jazz keeps a steady pace, but it hasn’t been able to move forward because it is lacking consistency. That lack of consistency has been evident in games like the one they lost 126-122 against San Antonio. In the second half of this encounter, they lost the lead, and even if they were able to get close at the end, they ended up failing in their attempts to achieve the victory.
The team hasn’t been able to string together more than two wins in a row since November, and that is obviously not ideal for a team that wants to catch up with the conference leaders. Curry, the two-time MVP who was having a great season, got injured and he still has at least two weeks more to return to the court. Not only is Stephen out, but Draymond Green is also injured and it is not yet known if he will be able to play in this Jazz vs Warriors game.
To see how important Curry is to the Warriors, you only have to look at his averages: 30 points, 6.6 rebounds and 6.8 assists. Yet, and stats aside, he is the leader of the team and you cannot really calculate the value of that. Golden State ran out of their moving force.
In the game against Memphis, which they won 123-109, the one who carried the offense on his shoulders was Jordan Poole with 32 points, but also Green’s work was spectacular. He recorded a double-double of 13 points and 13 assists. He won’t be playing against the Jazz, as we mentioned before he also got injured, which is not great news or the Golden State team.
