Betting on the Minnesota Timberwolves
While they have had the occasional good moment, the Timberwolves have never been able to achieve the consistency expected from them, coming into this game in the midst of a four-game losing streak and in eleventh place in the Western Conference, but just three games out of the playoff spots.
This will be the fourth and final game of an away series for the Wolves, in which they have so far been unable to record victories, their most recent performance being a 118-119 loss against the New Orleans Pelicans, with Anthony Edwards and D’Angelo Russell led the team with 27 points each.
Despite the absence of Karl-Anthony Towns, the Timberwolves still average 114.7 points scored per game, but their defense continues to leave much to be desired, registering 115.7 points allowed per game.
Betting on the Milwaukee Bucks
The Bucks will finally return home after playing a total of five games away from home, a stretch in which they won the first game but lost the next four, something that has dropped them to third place in the Eastern Conference and now sit 2.5 games off the top.
Unexpectedly, defense was the Bucks’ big problem over the last week, and they come into this game after losing to the Chicago Bulls in overtime by a score of 113-119, in a game that featured another great performance by Giannis Antetokounmpo, who registered 45 points, 7 assists and 22 rebounds.
Despite their recent defensive woes, the Bucks have had a very good year in that regard, allowing an average of 110.4 points allowed per game, but they have struggled a bit offensively, giving up an average of 112.6 points scored despite having one of the league’s best scorers in Antetokounmpo.

The Wolves offense has had a rough last week, and their outlook doesn’t look to improve, given that they will be facing a strong Bucks defense, which at home has allowed an average of only 108.2 points allowed per game, thus helping the team to win 14 of their 17 home games.
As if that weren’t enough, the Timberwolves will also have to deal with the problems of their defense if they don’t want to suffer too much against an Antetokounmpo who is in the midst of a great moment of inspiration, and who at home receives a little more support from his teammates.
