Roma’s great start to the season has been gradually declining, and now they’re coming into this match in seventh place in the standings after failing to win in their last three official appearances (2 draws, 1 loss). However, although they began a stretch of five friendly matches during the World Cup break with three matches without a win, they managed to end it with two wins in a row.
Roma’s last two league matches ended in 1-1 draws, the most recent being an agonizing equalizer earned thanks to a Nemanja Matic goal at 90+4. The capital team has also shown some doubts at home, winning only two of its last five home games (1 draw, 3 losses).
La Loba is, along with Fiorentina, the worst offensive team in the league among the top 12 teams in the standings; however, they have been quite solid in defense, conceding only 14 goals in 15 games played so far.

Bologna hasn’t given up a goal in either of their last two encounters with Roma (0-0, 1-0), and they’ll need some of that defensive tenacity to win this game, as their defense is among the league’s worst. Moreover, they gave up six goals in their last away game (6-1 vs Inter).
With a total of 19, they are the side that has conceded the most goals away from home thus far this year, accounting for 73.07% of their overall goals allowed (26).
