Despite the loss, TCU is still a force to reckon with in the conference. For one, it has already collected victories against the likes of the Kansas Jayhawks, Baylor Bears, and Texas Tech Red Raiders.
That’s not to mention the fact that the Horned Frogs won the first meeting this season with Kansas State, as they scored an 82-68 win on Jan. 14 at home over the Wildcats. The Horned Frogs leaned on their defense to frustrate Kansas State in that game, forcing the Wildcats into committing 20 turnovers.
