Betting on the Chicago Bulls

Recent history between the Bulls and the Mavericks would show that Chicago has gotten the better of Dallas for the most part of the last few years. In fact, the Bulls have won four of their last five matchups against Dallas, dating back to the 2019-20 NBA regular season. That stretch includes the most recent meeting between these franchises, which was when Chicago defeated the Mavericks in Windy City last December, 144-114.
The Bulls shot an incredible 63.5 percent from the field in that contest, and while that’s difficult to duplicate, it’s not a reach to think that the Bulls will take advantage of Dallas’ defense again. The Mavs’ defense has been a huge letdown for Dallas of late, so look for DeMar DeRozan and the Bulls to capitalize on that.
Betting on the Dallas Mavericks

It’s bewildering what has happened to the Mavericks since their trade for Kyrie Irving. Although the Luka Donic-Irving tandem is easily one of the most lethal combos in the league today, the Mavs are having a hard time getting wins.
That being said, the Bulls can’t feel confident they can handle Dallas – and that’s even though they clobbered the Mavs in the first meeting this season. For one, Dallas did not have Doncic in that contest nor did the team have Irving back then. This time around, the Mavs are much better equipped for a battle against the Bulls. Christian Wood played well in the December loss to the Bulls, scoring 21 points with nine rebounds and two assists, while hitting three of seven attempts from behind the arc. The Mavs are also 4-2-1 against the spread in their last six home games versus Chicago.
