Will Giannis Antetokounmpo be able to play in Game 3 after missing Game 2 with a back issue? His status should be closely monitored ahead of Game 3, but if their 138-122 home win in Game 2 was any indication, it appears that the Bucks might just be fine with or without the Greek Freak. Brook Lopez and Jrue Holiday scored 25 and 24 points, respectively last Wednesday.
The Bucks even established a new franchise record by scoring 81 points in the first half. The Bucks also drilled a total of 25 3-p0inters in Game 2. Their sharp outside shooting will continue to be needed by Milwaukee in order to stretch Miami’s defense and make it harder for the Heat’s offense to keep up. So far in the series, the Bucks are shooting 38.3 percent from behind the arc.

Miami let the Bucks break away with a huge lead early in Game 2 and spent the rest of the contest chasing. As the home team in Game 3, the Heat should be able to find enough energy right out of the gate to keep Milwaukee from getting into fifth gear right away. Jimmy Butler had 25 points in Game 2 while Duncan Robinson was inserted into the starting lineup and scored 14 points with four 3-pointers in 26 minutes.
D-Rob is going to be counted upon more by the Heat with Tyler Herro sidelined, so seeing him shoot well last Wednesday was at least a good sign for Miami heading into Game 3. Victor Oladipo also saw ample playing time and scored 15 points. That’s a nice performance to build on for the former Indiana Hoosiers star, as the Heat look for other players to cover the void on offense temporarily left by Herro.
