Scottie Scheffler did not participate in last week’s 2023 RBC Canadian Open, but he did not really need to be there in Toronto and compete to make a clear statement that he’s one of the best today. Scheffler already has two wins this season and is 16/16 so far in the 2022-23 PGA TOUR campaign. He has cracked the top 10 12 times and the top 25 15 times. It’s worth mentioning too that Scheffler has finished T10 or better in three of his last four major starts.
Jon Rahm (+900 on DraftKings)
Ranked No. 2 in the OWGR, Rahm is easily among the top golfers to watch out for this week. Like Scheffler, Rahm did not see action at the 2023 RBC Canadian Open, but he is still looking so good with eight top 10s this season and that includes four victories. In his most recent start, Rahm had a T16 at the 2023 the Memorial Tournament presented by Workday. He is leading everyone this season with a 4.84 birdie average and second with a scoring average of 68.57.
Brooks Koepka (+1100 on DraftKings)
The LIV Golf star has been spectacular in his recent majors appearances. After snatching a T2 at the 2023 Masters Tournament, Keopka won in his next major event, topping the field at the 2023 PGA Championship just last May. He is also coming off a T12 at the LIV Golf Invitational DC.
Sleeper Picks
Adam Scott (+7000 on DraftKings)
Scott is winless so far this season, but he’s seemingly getting hot. With a T9 at the 2023 the Memorial Tournament presented by Workday, the 42-year-old Australian has remained perfect in terms of cuts made, going 12/12 on the season. Not only that but he’s now finished inside the top 10 in three of his last four starts, including a T5 at the 2023 Wells Fargo Championship.
Corey Conners (+7500 on DraftKings)
After missing the cut at the 2023 the Memorial Tournament presented by Workday, Conners made it above the cut line with a T20 at the 2023 RBC Canadian Open. Conners is also +1200 to finish fifth or better in this week’s 2023 US Open.
Dark Horse
Joel Dahmen (+50000 on DraftKings)
A fan favorite, Dahmen is 14/20 so far this season with three top 10s and six top 25s. He once had a three-start stretch late last year when he had T3 at the World Wide Technology Championship, a T9 at the Texas Children’s Houston Open, and T5 at the The RSM Classic in a consecutive manner.
