Ranked No. 1 in the world, it’s a no-brainer why Swiatek is a player to watch out for in the upcoming 2023 Wimbledon women’s singles tournament. Coming off a Grand Slam title win at Roland Garros, Swiatek wants nothing more than to win another major crown, this time at All England Club. The Wimbledon is one of only two Grand Slam events Swiatek has yet to win, so there’s definitely a real thirst she wants to quench at this tournament.
Aryna Sabalenka (+400 on DraftKings)
The No. 2 player in the world, Sabalenka will look to make loud noises in London when she plays in her first Wimbledon tournament since 2021. She was not allowed to play at the 2022 Wimbledon for non-tennis reasons, but that should only make her so eager to come up with a powerful performance this time around. The last time she participated in this event, the Belarusian reached the semifinals, the deepest she’s reached at Wimbledon. She also reached the semis of the 2023 French Open earlier this month but fell in that round at the hands of Karolina Muchova.
Elena Rybakina (+425 on DraftKings)
As the defending Wimbledon women’s singles champion, Rybakina is easily a player to keep an eye on in London. That remains to be her only Grand Slam title so far in her career, but she’ll get plenty of chances to win more, as Rybakina is still just 24 years old. When Rybakina won in 2022 in London, she defeated Simona Halep in the semifinals in straight sets before outlasting Ons Jabeur in the finals in three sets.

Belinda Bencic (+5000 on DraftKings)
At the time of this writing, Bencic already has two titles in 2023. She won the Adelaide International 2 back in January in Australia and topped the field at the Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open in the United Arab Emirates. But the real goal for the 26-year-old Swiss star is a Grand Slam title, which continues to elude her. Bencic, who turned pro way back in 2012, has reached at least the quarterfinals of a Grand Slam tournament three times in her career, though, all those happened at the US Open. At Wimbledon, the best finish she’s managed was Round 16, which she did twice in 2015 and 2018.
Linda Fruhvirtova (+6500 on DraftKings)
Not many people would think of the name Linda Fruhvirtova if asked about the 2023 Wimbledon women’s singles tournament, but that’s also why she’s a sleeper worth noticing. Fruhvirtova is only 18 and ranks the Grand Slam experience many others have, but that doesn’t mean she can’t pull off a surprise at her first-ever trip to Wimbledon. She recently stunned former World No. 3 Elina Svitolina in the first round of the Rothesay Classic Birmingham as part of the Ukrainian’s preparation for the Wimbledon.

Camila Giorgi (+15000 on DraftKings)
Gorgi has been around for a while, as she turned pro in 2006. To this day, though, she’s only got one Grand Slam quarterfinals appearance (2018 Wimbledon). Nevertheless, she will get another chance again to win her first major title when she sees action at the 2023 Wimbledon women’s singles event.
