Betting Preview for UFC Fight Night Featuring Holly Holm vs Mayra Bueno Silva & Other Big Cards on July 15 2023
Holly Holm (-155) vs Mayra Bueno Silva (+135)
Women’s Bantamweight
The former women’s bantamweight champion is ready to give it a go again just after beating Yana Santos via unanimous decision last March. Holm has won three of his last four fights and carries a 15-6-o record into this weekend’s showdown against Silva, who is also on a roll herself. Silva has won all of her last three fights, two via submissions. She has a 10-2-1 record and a 7-0 submission slate.
Prediction: Holm wins via knockout.
Albert Duraev (+130) vs Jun-yong Park (-150)
Middleweight
While both Duraev and Park are unranked at the moment, that shouldn’t diminish the potential of their showdown to become a thrilling one. Duraev defeated Chidi Njokuani last March and has won 11 of his last 12 fights and keeps a 16-4-0 record. Park is 3-0 in his last three fights, including back-to-back submission victories against Joseph Holmes in October 2022 and Denis Tiuliulin in February of this year. There is a total of 14 submission wins between Duraev and Park.
Prediction: Park wins via decision.
Walt Harris (-180) vs Josh Parisian (+155)
Heavyweight
This is a battle between two hulking guys each eager to score a rebound following respective losses in their recent fights. Harris is appearing in his first fight in over two years. In his last fight, he lost to Marcin Tybura in June 2021. He is 13-10-0 with all of his wins coming by way of knockouts. Parisian has fought as recently as last February, which was a loss to Jamal Pogues. He is 15-6-0 with an 11-2 knockout record.
Prediction: Parisian wins via KO.
Norma Dumont (-145) vs Chelsea Chandler (+125)
Women’s Featherweight
This women’s featherweight bout features fighters who are both on a roll. Dumont is on a two-fight win streak and has also won five of her last six bouts. Chandler, meanwhile, has won all of their last four fights. Dumont has a 9-2-0- record, while Chandler brandishes a 5-1-0 record.
Prediction: Dumont wins via decision.
Ottman Azaitar (odds) vs Francisco Prado (odds)
Lightweight
Azaitar suffered a loss in his most recent fight at the hands of Matt Frevola in November 2022 via knockout. That was the first loss of his pro-MMA career and he intends to put on a show this coming weekend. Azaitar is an explosive fighter with 10 of his 13 wins coming by way of knockouts. Before his loss to Frevola, Azaitar won five consecutive fights via knockouts. Prado, on the other hand, is making just his second UFC fight. He lost the first one last February against Jamie Mullarkey via unanimous decision, but he still remains a potent threat to Azaitar. Prado is a former Samurai Fight House champion.
Prediction: Azaitar wins via KO.
