At his price, Grillo can seem to have great value in the eyes of anyone looking for a deep sleeper to put money on. Grillo’s not a name people are talking about, but he’s got a pair of top 10s in his last two starts, as he went T6 in The Open Championship and T10 in the 3M Open. He also won last May’s Charles Schwab Challenge. Grillo, who is 30 and 21st in the current FedExCup standings, went 19/26 in the regular season with seven top 10s and 10 top 25s.
Lucas Glover (+7500 on DraftKings)
The narrative for Glover is easy to make because he is coming off a surprise win last week in the Wyndham Championship. Glover has cracked the top five in two of his last two starts, as he finished fifth in last month’s Barbasol Championship. In addition, Glover has had a top-10 finish in four of his last five starts.
Sahith Theegala (+10000 on DraftKings)
Theegala has been wobbly of late. He missed the cut in all of his last three starts after making it to the weekend in each of his previous 22 starts. But if there’s a reason to believe that Theegala will have a surprise run this week, it’s that he finished 13th last year in the FedEx St. Jude Championship.
