Everything is ready for the 86th edition of the Masters, an event that brings together the best golfers in the world, including former world number one Tiger Woods.

Here’s a list of the 4 most interesting stories ahead of the Major being held at the legendary Augusta National course.

After suffering a traffic accident that almost cost him a leg, Tiger Woods is ready to return to action in the Major he has won five times during his brilliant career.

The fact that the 46-year-old American decides to play the Masters after a 14-month absence from the PGA is a clear sign that he feels physically well enough to aim for a repeat performance of 2019, when he won his most recent green jacket.

Whatever happens to Woods, his mere presence in the tournament means great news for the world of sport.

Jordan Spieth Looks for Another Brilliant Performance at Augusta

Spieth is one of the most popular golfers in the PGA that automatically generates that many people are very attentive to each of his shots on the Augusta National course.

In addition to the aforementioned, this is a player who finished in the Top 3 of the table in 5 of his 8 first appearances in the tournament, including the championship achieved in the 2015 edition.

Rory McIIroy Has New Opportunity to Complete the Grand Slam

Rory MclIroy will once again take to the course at Augusta National with the motivation to win the only Major he has yet to win to complete the Grand Slam.

If the Irishman wins the Masters, he will become only the sixth golfer in history to win the championship trophy in all four of golf’s Majors.

However, things have not gone the best way for the former PGA number one, as he only finished in the Top 10 in one of the five recent events he played.

Scottie Scheffler Arrives at the Masters as World Number One

Scheffler will play his first major event as the top-ranked PGA player, and it will be interesting to see how he will perform after finishing 18th in 2021.

The 25-year-old still does not have a Major title, so this could be an excellent opportunity for him to establish himself as the best golfer in the world today.

Scheffler will try to repeat the performance that won him the championship at the World Match Play Championship a few days ago, where he defeated Kevin Kisner in the final.
