Day 14 of Liga MX will feature nine enjoyable matches. As the regular season draws to a close, every match is expected to elicit a wide range of emotions, as some teams compete to be among the top four teams to advance to the quarterfinals in the Clausura 2022, others are trying to make a last-ditch effort to stay in the playoff zone and participate in the Fiesta Grande of Mexican soccer.

Here are the 4 games to watch this weekend in Liga MX:

1.- Cruz Azul vs Guadalajara

Among all the expected games for Day 14 of the Liga MX, Cruz Azul vs Guadalajara is the most anticipated match. Cruz Azul is coming off a loss in the Concachampions Semifinals to Pumas and will be looking to reverse that situation by trying to reach the top of the overall standings, but only a win will do the trick.

Chivas lost in midweek to Monterrey by a score of 1-3 and this led to the departure of coach Marcelo Michel Leaño. Now they will have to face the remainder of the tournament with an interim coach, but the obligation is to enter the playoffs, as they are currently out of them after not winning in the last four games.

This match will be played on Saturday, April 16 at 7:00 p.m. (Pacific time) at the Azteca Stadium.

2.- Tigres vs Toluca

Tigres continues to be one of the best teams in this Clausura 2022, and will take advantage of Matchday 14 of the MX League to move up to first place overall, as they are currently in second place, tied with Pachuca (both have 29 points). The team has shown an enviable offensive power and has a total of 26 goals scored.

Toluca is slowly trying to clean up its mistakes and at least it has not lost in its last three games, which has allowed the team to hold to the playoff places. There are four games left to play and if they get three points in this match, they would be close to securing their ticket to the Liguilla.

This match will be played on Saturday, April 16 at 5:00 p.m. (Pacific time) at the Estadio Universitario.

3.- Juarez vs Pachuca

Last-placed team in the general classification, Juárez, will host leader Pachuca in Day 14 of the Liga MX. The situation is not looking good for the border team, which has only two wins in 13 games and a total of 10 games without a win in the Clausura 2022, having lost six in a row.

Pachuca, on the other hand, has been trying to maintain its good form and, although it is coming off a goalless draw against Tijuana last week, it has not lost its place in the standings.

This match will be played this Friday, April 15 at 7:00 p.m. (Pacific time) at the Estadio Olímpico Benito Juárez.

4.- Tijuana vs América

Tijuana and Club América are both looking for the same thing on Day 14 of Liga MX: a victory that will allow them to continue in the playoff places.

They have the same record in 13 games played: four wins, four draws and five defeats; the capital team, however, comes into this match with four unbeaten games and three consecutive victories, while Xolos has not been able to win in the last three.

The fact that they are fighting for a place in the Fiesta Grande promises a difficult match for both teams.

This match will be played on Friday, April 15 at 7:06 p.m. (Pacific time) at Estadio Caliente.
