The third and final game of this series between the Twins and Mariners will be played today, with both teams sharing wins in the first two games.
The Twins haven’t been looking comfortable lately, and their only series victory came by a tight 3-2, making it their fourth victory in their last 10 games as visitors. Sonny Gray will be the starter this time, and the pitcher hasn’t allowed more than two runs in any of his seven starts this season, though only the last three saw him pitch more than 5.0 innings.
Gray’s strength could be tough to beat for the Mariners, who are averaging 3.4 runs scored in their last five home games. However, Seattle will have Marco Gonzales on the mound, who has had a pretty decent home run so far this season, allowing more than two runs in just one of six starts at this ballpark to date.
It will be a close game again, but we think the Twins have what it takes to prevail.
