Analysis of JefeBet Jackpot

JefeBet Jackpot July 9th - Pumas vs Leon

1.- Pumas striker Diogo started this new tournament the same way he ended the previous one: scoring goals Therefore, his offensive performance could help the university team to a victory in this visit, although it is worth mentioning that Diogo has not scored against León since he arrived in Liga MX.

However, Pumas has scored two goals in their last two games against the “Fiera,” suggesting that their defense may be breached. It’s not a bad idea to imagine Diogo as the scorer of one of those goals.

2.- Pumas crushed Tijuana in their opening match of the day, winning 9 corners to 1. However, now they will have a more complicated opponent and probably won’t have as much control of the ball to have the same amount of corner kicks.

Pumas average 4.8 corner kicks during their last five away games, and only one of their last five visits to Leon saw them take more than five corner kicks, so their number of corners will likely be quite low.

3.- Rodolfo Cota made two saves in León’s first match of the Apertura, helping the team beat San Luis 1-2.

In his last three games against Pumas, he hasn’t had many appearances either, making no more than two saves in all games. With Pumas finding themselves in a bad spot playing away from home with four consecutive defeats, another quiet night for him is a possibility.

4.- Nicolás Freire has been pulling the strings in the Pumas midfield, and his previous performance saw him complete 64 passes against Tijuana, making this the fourth consecutive match in which he has made 50 or more passes in total.

However, in the last match between the two clubs, he barely managed to make 31 passes due to his team’s possession of just 37%. Pumas will probably relinquish control of the game, so Freire will not have as many passes as usual.

5.- The previous games between both teams were extremely active, with only one of the last 10 concluding with less than two goals, so there will undoubtedly be plenty of goals.

The average number of goals in the last five meetings between the two clubs at León’s home is 2.6, so we believe the match could have three goals, especially if one of them scores early.

6.- Considering the bad streak that Pumas are in when playing away, having not won in their last six away games, we believe that a win for Leon is likely. However, with Pumas scoring in five of their last six official matches, we think the “universitarios” could get on the scoreboard.

7.- León had only 44% of possession during their first matchday, but we are confident that now, playing at home, they will be able to take the lead.

León’s average possession rate in its last five home games is 57%, and this rises to 62.2% if we look at the last five times they have hosted Pumas.

8.- Following the same criteria as the winner’s, we believe that León will be the star team, and therefore they could be the ones to score the first goal.

It is worth mentioning that León has several left-footed players in its lineup, such as Joel Campbell, Victor Dávila, Iván Rodríguez and Victor Mena, so if the “Fiera” score the first goal, there is a good chance that it will happen thanks to a left-footed shot.

9.- The game is likely to see at least one goal in the first half, as has been the case in six of Leon’s last ten home games.

In addition, the last six matchups between León and Pumas at León’s home saw “La Fiera” go into halftime with a 1-0 lead, and we believe this could happen again. Additionally, Pumas has allowed goals in the first half in its last four away games, further increasing its chances.

10.- Only four of Leon’s last ten official matches have had goals in the first 30 minutes of play, with many of them being scored after the 40th minute.

However, six of Pumas’ last ten official games did have goals in the first 30 minutes, so this will be a tough choice, but we think both teams could take a while to score as they test each other.
