Bell finished sixth in the Toyota Owners 400 at Richmond and ninth in the Enjoy Illinois 300 at St. Louis, and was second in the last edition of this race in 2021.

Kurt Busch has fond memories of New Hampshire Motor Speedway, where he won the Truck Series championship in 2000 and has a total of three NASCAR Cup Series victories at the track.
