MLS Week 20 had us buzzing with excitement as 31 goals were scored in the 11 matches played.

As the season progresses, the quality rises, and as fans, we can’t complain since, at the end of the day, all we want to do is enjoy the show that the league’s teams put on.

Without further ado, here are the five best goals of the Week 20 of the MLS. We hope you enjoy them!

MLS Goals: Top Goals in Week 20

5.- Ronaldo Cisneros – Atlanta United

The Mexican player Ronaldo Cisneros delighted us with an extraordinary performance in Week 20 of the MLS season. He scored a brace, but one of those goals left us open-mouthed. Cisneros took the ball just before the halfway line, turned, and when he realized three opponents were rushing him, he eluded one of them and blasted a right-footed shot into the net.

4.- Dejan Joveljic – LA Galaxy

Despite the LA Galaxy‘s inability to produce results, Serbian striker Dejan Djoveljic remains one of the team’s most outstanding players. This Wednesday, the player scored a brace in the 2-3 loss to San Jose Earthquakes. The second goal was a real gem. He took the ball on the edge of the box, settled it, made a cutback, and struck a powerful left-footed.

3.- Facu Torres – Orlando City

Among the best goals in MLS, we can’t miss the one scored by Uruguayan Facu Torres in Orlando City’s 1-1 draw against the Colorado Rapids. The Orlando player was in the box following a throw-in, and after numerous bounces of the ball, he took it and fired the left-footed shot without hesitation. The ball hit the crossbar, but with the same force as it was shot, it went into the net.

2.- Gonzalo Higuaín – Inter Miami

Argentine striker Gonzalo Higuaín scored the only goal for Inter Miami in their loss to Philadelphia Union. And, despite the fact that his goal did not earn his club the three points, Higuain received praise for his outstanding performance.

“Pipa” sprinted with the ball on his foot, and when he realized that he had space, he shrugged off the rival who tried to stop him, and hit the ball from outside the area, giving the rival goalkeeper little time to react.

1.- Juan Hernández – Colombus Crew

Colombian forward Juan “Chucho” Hernández scored another of the best goals of MLS Week 20. He scored both goals for Columbus Crew in a 2-2 draw against D.C. United, opening the scoring in the 61st minute with this amazing goal. He received the ball entering the area and decided to use his right foot to drive it into the opponent’s goal.
