Overall in the 2022-23 PGA Tour season so far, Rose is 12/16 with five top 10 and nine top 25s. He fired a 68 in the first round at The Renaissance during the 2022 version of the Scottish Open before floundering in the next rounds to finish 69th with a 9-over 289.

Rai is just three years removed from winning a Scottish Open title. In 2020, he was the last man standing in this tournament after besting Tommy Fleetwood in a playoff. As for his more recent showing, Rai is 3/3 in his last three starts and just cracked a top 10 with a T9 at the 2023 Rocket Mortgage Classic.
