El Alfa

Emanuel Herrera Batista (Bajos de Haina, Dominican Republic, December 18, 1990), known artistically as El Alfa “El Jefe” or simply El Alfa, is a Dominican rapper, composer, and producer. He is one of the current promoters of dembow, which is a musical genre of Jamaican origin, and of other Latin urban rhythms. Nicknamed “el Rey del Dembow” (the King of Dembow), his songs have become viral mainly on TikTok.
