Kevin Durant‘s trade request to the Brooklyn Nets has much of the NBA on edge. There are several organizations on the circuit that are considering giving their all, including multiple first-round picks, to land the star player.

That’s why, at JefeBet, we decided to bring you the four most likely scenarios that could soon be triggered by the historic 33-year-old forward.

Kevin Durant’s Possible NBA Trades for the 2022-2023 Season

Boston Celtics

Kevin Durant

Boston was the latest team to jump on the Durant bandwagon. The reigning Eastern Conference champions seem to want to give it all to win a championship again, and they feel Durant is the man.

According to a report from The Athletic’s Shams Charania, the Celtics would be considering including Jaylen Brown in the package, as well as multiple first-round picks and one other roster player.

Undoubtedly, an unexpected decision considering that Brown came from being the Defensive Player of the Year and one of the pillars of the team last season.

Toronto Raptors

Kevin Durant

Toronto’s hopes of acquiring Kevin Durant are high as, according to a report from ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the player would not be unhappy about going to play for the Raptors.

The organization has several important assets, such as OG Anunoby or Gary Trent Jr., that could go to the Nets, along with several important picks in the upcoming NBA Draft.

Of course, Toronto is not moving Scottie Barnes, Pascual Siakam, nor Fred VanVleet.

Miami Heat

Kevin Durant

Prior to the Celtics’ arrival in the bidding for Kevin Durant, Miami took it for granted that with a good package, he would be a member of the Heat next season.

The organization was the team that had come the closest to acquiring him, even with a formal proposal to Brooklyn which included several first-round picks along with Tyler Herro, Kyle Lowry, and a couple of other names.

However, Brooklyn seems to want Bam Adebayo in the transaction, despite not being able to keep him unless they also get out of Ben Simmons.

Phoenix Suns

Kevin Durant

Of the four teams on the list, the Suns look the toughest of all because of how much they have to risk, as well as having to take on the $194 million remaining on Durant’s contract.

With the signing of DeAndre Ayton, bringing in Durant would mean having to pay a fine for going over the salary cap. And that is something Phoenix seems unwilling to do, despite the player’s desire to join Chris Paul and the organization’s desire to add him to the roster.

What is even more, they would have to give up names like Mikal Bridges and Cameron Johnson along with a significant package of draft picks.
