Gatto has been waiting for this day to come, as it’s been a while since she last fought. That was when she suffered a unanimous decision loss at the hands of Tracy Cortez in May of 2022 at UFC 274: Oliveira vs. Gaethje. Prior to that, though, Gatto went undefeated 10 fights in a row.
Gatto won her first two fights in the UFC before running into Cortez in a fight that was probably a lot closer than what the decision suggests. She was only outlander by Cortez by six. Gatto even had more takedowns than Cortez, 3-2. Gatto has two knockout victories and four via submissions. No one has managed to stop her inside the cage or Octagon, which tells a lot about how durable is Gatto, who has a two-inch reach advantage over Lipski.
