Puerto-rican (well, sorta-Rican) personality, entertainer, producer, and founder of The Source Magazine Benzino has beef with hip hop icon 50 Cent. We won’t dive too deep into the tumultuous history between the two, but we will give you a little background for context. It all started when Benzino threw shade on Eminem (50 Cent’s buddy) back in the day, and escalated when Benzino accused the Candy Shop rapper of ratting on former record exec Jimmy Henchman. Henchmen was charged in connection to the murder of 50 Cent’s friend and G-Unit affiliate Lodi Mack in 2009.
Fast forward to present day to find ‘Zino and Fiddy exchanging blows on social media. Accusations regard everything from Benzino’s alleged affinity for trans-gendered women to 50 Cent’s supposed mismanagement of artists under his label. Yada yada.
Well, Benzino has finally had enough of the back-and-forth online trolling, and has officially challenged Fiddy to a boxing match. Two days ago (at press) Benzino drew up a contract with Celebrity Boxing for a June 11 (tentative) bout and called out his opponent on Instagram:
Shameless, but so are we. And as your one-stop resource for all things related to sports for the hispanic-american community, we are first to market with betting odds on this forthcoming celebrity boxing match. Does kinda-latino Benzino have what it takes to KO heavyweight 50 Cent? What do Vegas odds have to say about it? Let’s find out!

Benzino has the build and jaw of a pit bull, which could make him a threat if he is able to corner 50 Cent on the ropes. However, the same stature is problematic if the much taller (nearly 6-feet) 50 Cent can keep the bout in the middle of the ring. In addition, despite an obsession with sharing post-pushup selfies on Instagram, Benzino reportedly has no experience in amateur boxing beyond sparring with buddies.
That, and a prison brawl in 2020. Benzino got into a fight with a fellow Gwinnett County Jail inmate. The producer punched the inmate in the grill and was promptly sent to the infirmary with a tooth embedded into his hand. We’re not sure if that counts as badass, or a poorly directed punch. If Benzino can turn this match against 50 Cent into a street brawl he could win this thing.
Betting on 50 Cent
- Odds to Win: (-800)
- Age: 46
- Height: 1.82 m / 6 feet
- Weight: 97 kg / 214 lbs

Before their own famous feud, 50 Cent used to train with Floyd Mayweather. His confidence in the ring is big enough that he even challenged Mayweather to a celebrity boxing match in 2021. The fight never happened, but to date the rapper is still quite active with his boxing workouts. It’s hard to bet against 50 Cent in this bout against Benzino when you look at the statistics on paper. The 10-years younger southpaw has a 7-inch height, 9-inch reach, and 44-pound advantage over his opponent.
If Benzino was smart he’d delay the June 11 match to a later date and demand that 50-Cent drop to his weight class. That said, 50 Cent has proven that he can do so. In 2010 the rapper-slash-actor dropped from 214 pounds to 160 in just nine weeks for a role in a film. On that note, critics state the 50 Cent just acts the part of a good boxer, but has no real proof to backup the supposed skill set.
JefeBet Prediction for Benzino vs 50-Cent Celebrity Boxing Bout
Benzino’s got balls, but when you factor in age, height, weight, reach, and experience there’s simply no way he can win against Curtis James Jackson III in the ring. 50 Cent wins by TKO in the third round. Bet on it!
