The Austrian GP is the 11th race of the 2022 Formula 1 season, and it is also the ideal stage for the teams competing at the top of the Drivers’ and Constructors’ championships to close or lengthen the gap. Bookmakers have favorites, and we’ll tell you who they are here.
The first 10 rounds of the Formula 1 championship have been full of excitement. At first it seemed that no one was going to fight the Ferrari team and everything changed suddenly when Red Bull entered the fray.
Despite the fact that the British Grand Prix was taken by Carlos Sainz from Ferrari, it is still the Austrian team which leads the Constructors’ championship, thanks to the performance shown by the Dutchman, who has been in the lead for the last three years. Max Verstappen and Mexico’s Sergio “Checo” Perez, and are expected to make it 1-2 in the Austrian GP.
Who will win the Austrian GP?
Despite a seventh-place finish in the last race, reigning F1 champion Max Verstappen is the favorite to win the Austrian GP.
It may seem a surprise, but another of the favorites is the Spaniard, Carlos Sainz, and everything indicates that his victory at Silverstone has given him confidence. Based on how the season has progressed, Checo Perez appears to be on par with seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton in terms of possibilities of winning a Grand Prix, according to some bookmakers.
