On Thursday, September 8, two of the top contenders to win the Super Bowl, the Buffalo Bills and Los Angeles Rams, will kick off the 2022 NFL season in the first game of Week 1 of the regular round.

After three consecutive unlucky postseasons, the Bills enter the 2022 season on a mission to win their first Super Bowl with the help of star quarterback Josh Allen, who will have a very talented team at his disposal, including receiver Steffon Diggs.
That is why this Thursday they will face their first acid test when they face the mighty Rams, reigning NFL champions with one of the best defensive lines in the circuit. Early on, Allen has to prove he is ready to take Buffalo to the Super Bowl after winning the AFC East Division the past two seasons.

The Rams start the season where they ended it: playing at home, in front of their fans. Los Angeles were crowned champion against the Bengals in their stadium, and this Thursday will begin the defense of their title in a place where last year they had a 7-3 record, including the postseason.
Once again, Matthew Stafford will be in charge of the offense, despite raising doubts this first week due to right elbow discomfort. The quarterback led the Rams to the championship in his debut campaign with the organization and will have Cooper Kupp, 2021 Offensive Player of the Year and Super Bowl MVP, as his go-to receiver.
As for the defense, there is not much to say. Although they lost Von Miller, the Rams signed linebacker Bobby Wagner to join Aaron Donald on the mission of slowing down opponents. Moving on to the secondary, Los Angeles also has its own and Jalen Ramsey, considered by many to be the best cornerback in the game today, is recovered from physical discomfort and will see action on Thursday.

It is difficult to make a prediction of this commitment. The two teams could meet again at the end of the season in the Super Bowl, as both have plenty of talent on both sides of the grid.
