1. Max Verstappen – Red Bull Racing
Leading the 2022 Drivers’ Championship is Dutchman Max Verstappen with 258 points. This Red Bull Racing driver has won 8 of the 13 races so far. He is the pilot with the best results of the year. In addition, in 2 of the 5 competitions he has not won, he reached a place on the podium. He is last year’s world champion and, this season, the best driver.
2. Charles Leclerc – Scuderia Ferrari
In second place is Monegasque Charles Leclerc of Scuderia Ferrari. 3. Checo Pérez – Red Bull Racing

4. George Russell – Mercedes AMG
George Russell is the only one in this top 5 of the 2022 Drivers’ Championship who is not from Ferrari or Red Bull. The teammate of the seven-time world champion, Lewis Hamilton, has had excellent results this year, even better than the Englishman. This season, he has been on the podium five times. In addition, he got the first Pole of his career in the most recent Hungarian GP. This British pilot has 158 points.
5. Carlos Sainz – Scuderia Ferrari
Finally, in fifth position is Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz, who is only two points behind George Russell (156 points). Like the Mercedes driver, he has been on the podium 5 times this year.
