Notes about the Experts’ Analysis
- As the experts’ predictions show, there are many favorites for the tournament, which is not surprising considering that the top 125 golfers in the FedEx ranking participate in these playoffs.
- Cameron Smith is one of two repeat golfers in the expert analysis presented, and was second in this tournament during 2021.
- Will Zalatoris is the other golfer who appears more than once in the expert picks, but he has never managed to win a trophy in his career.
- Jason Day was the last non-American golfer to manage to win the tournament (2015, under The Barclays).
- Tony Finau is the current champion of the tournament, but the last time a golfer won this competition in consecutive editions was in 1996-1997, with South African Ernie Els achieving this feat.
- The last time the runner-up of the last edition of the tournament took the victory was in 2015 (Jason Day, runner-up in 2014).
