Week 15 of the MLS marks the return to activity of all the teams, after some took a few days off to take advantage of the FIFA international break of the current month. The matches will be played between June’s Saturday 18 and Sunday 19.
If you are a soccer fan, particularly a fan of an MLS team, you will most likely be paying close attention to the start of this day, which looks promising as the first spots in the Western and Eastern Conferences begin to tighten.

1. Seattle Sounders vs. LAFC
The Seattle Sounders were active earlier this week and recorded their sixth victory of the season, beating the Whitecaps 4-0. The current rival belongs to the same Conference, but there is a 10-point difference, since LAFC is the leader with 29 points, after nine wins, two draws and three losses in 14 dates. Even if they lose the Los Angeles team, they will retain the lead, but they will strive to tie their third consecutive victory and cement their position at the top.

2. FC Dallas vs. Vancouver Whitecaps
FC Dallas is having a good season and has won half of its 14 games played. They will try to take advantage of this game at home to get closer to the leadership of the Western Conference, since they are four points behind LAFC.
They will face the Vancouver Whitecaps, who are the second team in the West with the most losses: they have won five, tied two and lost eight. This game is crucial for the Canadian franchise because they are currently out of the postseason picture, but a win here might put them back in contention.

3. Philadelphia Union vs. Cincinnati
In terms of performance, the Philadelphia Union is currently one of the best teams so far in the 2022 MLS season, as they have lost only one of the 14 games they have played. They have six wins and seven draws and that allows them to be the runner-up in the Eastern Conference, where only one point separates them from New York City FC.
Cincinnati has dropped its last two games and has now lost half of its 14 games so far. Facing a stronger rival could be a great challenge, so they do not arrive as favorites.

4. New York City FC vs. Colorado Rapids
Reigning MLS Cup champion New York City FC currently lead the Eastern Conference with eight wins, two draws and three losses in 13 games played. This MLS Week 15 matchup will mark a new era, following the departure of manager Ronny Deila, as it will be the first game under interim manager Nick Cushing. The New York team has four consecutive victories and will try to maintain that good streak.
Colorado Rapids will visit the Big Apple for this clash. The squad was one of those that had no activity in the previous two weeks, and their most recent game was a 1-3 loss to Nashville SC, so they will look to reverse that here.
This game will be played on Sunday, June 19 at 2:00 p.m. (Pacific Time) at Yankee Stadium.
