Betting on the Indianapolis Colts

Following a convincing victory over the Chiefs in Week 3, the Colts were unable to capitalize on their home-field advantage, making mistakes that cost them the game against Tennessee.
Matt Ryan’s 356 yards through the air and two touchdowns did little good because of three turnovers committed by the Colts, two of them by the quarterback himself. The Titans took full advantage of an interception and a fumble from Ryan, which they capitalized on with two touchdowns on the next offensive series.
Also, in the fourth quarter, with the game within seven points, running back Jonathan Taylor dropped a fumble almost in the red zone to end any chance of a comeback.
Defensively, beyond the 24 points accepted, Indianapolis did another solid job as 14 of them came after the offense’s two turnovers in tough territory. The Colts conceded just 243 total yards and did not allow a single Titans point in the second half. In the face of Denver’s banged up offense, this performance could hold up.

The Broncos’ situation is complex for many reasons. In addition to being defeated by the Raiders and leaving their record even, their second running back, Javonte Williams, will miss the remainder of the season due to ruptured knee ligaments.
This is a very painful loss for a Denver offense that is still not performing as well as expected after the arrival of Russell Wilson. The quarterback added two touchdown passes on Sunday, but for the third consecutive week failed to gain even 250 yards through the air (237). Denver also failed to surpass 300 total yards (299) for the second week in a row, and also added a fumble that ended in a 68-yard touchdown return.
The defense didn’t have an easy night in Las Vegas either. For the first time this season, they conceded more than 17 points in a game; meanwhile, the Raiders totaled 385 total yards, with 25 first downs and no turnovers. The good news is that they won both of their home games in 2022, and none of their opponents scored more than 10 goals.
