How about the Jaguars? After a 1-2 start to the season, the Jags have managed to win three games in a row, including last Sunday’s 37-20 destruction of the Indianapolis Colts at home. Jacksonville has serious momentum now and seems to be catching New Orleans at just the right time with the Saints struggling to win games of late.
Running back Travis Etienne Jr. has been superb for Jacksonville over the last few games. In the Colts game, Etienne only rushed for 55 yards on 18 carries, but he recorded two rushing touchdowns. On the season, the Jaguars are averaging 23.7 points per game. Their defense has also been fantastic in terms of forcing turnovers, as the Jags are No. 1 in the league with 2.5 takeaways per contest.

Regular season record: 3-3
The Saints got off to a 2-0 start this season, but since then, they have won just once through three games. In their most recent outing, the Saints suffered a 20-13 road loss at the hands of the Houston Texans last Sunday. Derek Carr needed 50 passing attempts to reach 353 passing yards. He only had a touchdown pass with an interception, while getting sacked twice for a loss of 16 yards.
New Orleans’ offense has been very inconsistent thus far this season, but the Saints can’t still be underestimated by the Jags’ defense. Running back Alvin Kamara and wide receiver Chris Olave have the ability to take over a game, while Carr is also capable of playing like an elite quarterback from time to time. Defense is also a strength of the Saints, who are sixth and fifth in the league in scoring defense and total defense, respectively.
