Latin artists are becoming increasingly popular around the world, thanks to their tropical, lively, and danceable sounds. That’s why today we celebrate their success with a list of the Latin artists on 2022 Spotify’s Global Top. We tell you all about it below.

1. Bad Bunny (1)

The “conejo malo”, a great lover of sports, is in first place and is currently the most successful Latin American artist in the world. He has the most songs in Spotify’s Global Top, with ten, and the highest position is Me porto bonito, with Chenco Corleone at No. 4. In addition, his album “Un verano sin ti” is in first position and in the Global Artists’ Chart he has been at number 1 for 39 weeks in a row.

Undoubtedly, he is an artist that sweeps with his talent, music and lyrics.

2. Rauw Alejandro (10)

In second place is Rauw Alejandro, Rosalía’s Puerto Rican boyfriend, who is ranked 10th among Latinos in Spotify’s Global Top. This artist is supremely talented; he’s not only a singer, but also a songwriter, dancer and producer.

He has been nominated four times for the Latin Grammy and has won the award once. He has three songs (his own and collaborations) in the Top 50: Te Felicito (Shakira ft. Rauw); Party (Bad Bunny ft. Rauw Alejandro) and Desesperados (Rauw Alejandro ft. Chencho Corleone).

3. Bizarrap (16)

In third place is producer Bizarrap, who just had the #1 song on Spotify with Quevedo in his Music Sessions. This Argentine artist, DJ, producer and composer is known for doing sessions in his recording studio with local singers to give them a platform and boost them. Additionally, he also hosts international singers such as Nicky Jam, Nicki Nicole, Nathy Peluso, Residente, Paulo Londra, among others.

4. J Balvin (17)

The last two positions are for Colombian artists. J Balvin is in #17 of Spotify’s Global Top, just after Bizarrap. In 2019 he released a joint album with Bad Bunny titled Oasis, with which he had great success. Currently, his most played song is LA CANCIÓN with 1,029,824,380 reproductions.

5. Karol G (23)

Finally Karol G, who recently performed in F1, is in #23 in Spotify’s Global Top. She has two songs in the Top 50: Provenza, ranked 12 and MAMIII, with Becky G. These two songs are apparently aimed at her ex-partner, Anuel AA.

In 2021, she released her third album KG0516, which was positioned in the first place of the 10 albums that debuted that week on Spotify’s Global.
