Quarterfinals Liga MX: América vs Puebla
América had a difficult night on Wednesday in Puebla after two of its players were injured in the first half, with Uruguay’s Federico Viñas and Paraguay’s Richard Sánchez suffering injuries. In the second half, the “Tuzos” once again took the lead in the 77th minute with another goal by Ibáñez, and when it seemed that the advantage would go to the visitors, Juan Manuel Sanabria equalled the score 2-2 in stoppage time.
Pachuca will close the Liga MX quarterfinals at home, and although they are one of the strongest contenders for the title, they will try not to make the same mistakes as in the first leg.

Liga MX Quarterfinals: Atlas vs Guadalajara
The reigning Mexican soccer champions, Atlas, reached this stage of the tournament after finishing in third place overall. The first challenge in the quest for the second championship is the “clásico tapatío”, and in the first leg they achieved an important victory by a score of 1-2. Ángel Jeremy Márquez scored a brace, in the 28th and 44th minute, and for Chivas, Cristian “Chicote” Calderón scored in the 54th minute.
Atlas will arrive as the favorite for the second leg in front of their home fans.

MX League Quarterfinals: Tigres vs Cruz Azul
Tigres came into this game as favorites after finishing second overall in the regular season. Cruz Azul, meanwhile, had generated doubts in the playoff against Necaxa, as they had to decide their place in the quarterfinals of the Liga MX on penalties. Thanks to a goal by Jesús Dueñas in the 44th minute, the Monterrey side took a 1-0 lead, but that was the only advantage they took from the match, as Nicolás López and coach Miguel Herrera were sent off.
Now they will have to define at the Volcán.
