Apertura 2022 is just around the corner and the teams of the League MX teams are ready to compete, having reinforced their weakest lines.

Some teams had more reinforcements than others, and even went in search of the bests available on the market. Others made do with what they could get according to their budgets, but all of them are ready to face Apertura 2022 which will kick off this Friday, July 1.

Meet the 5 Best Reinforcements in Liga MX for This Apertura 2022

1.- Gustavo Del Petre – Pumas

Pumas surprised by acquiring the services of Argentine striker Gustavo del Petre. With the arrival of this player, they seek to provide the ideal partner for his compatriot Juan Ignacio Dinenno, who has been the leader of the attack in recent times.

Del Petre proved his quality with Estudiantes de La Plata, where he played 45 games, scored 14 goals and provided eight assists. These numbers have won over the team’s board of directors, who are looking for offensive power.

2.- Jonathan Rodríguez – América

América was also looking for an offensive element for the Apertura 2022, thinking that in order to achieve positive results, it needs people to score goals. The team looked abroad and found an old Liga MX acquaintance, Jonathan “Cabecita” Rodríguez.

The former Santos and Cruz Azul player, was in Mexico between 2017 and 2021, and in that time with the two aforementioned teams he scored 87 goals, so he is proven quality.

He arrives from Al-Nassr FC of the Saudi Arabian league, where he scored only one goal.

3.- Darwin Machís – FC Juárez

FC Juárez was not left behind and also looked for a striker in the market, and not only that, but dared to go for a Latin player who was living the European dream.

The border team added Venezuelan striker Darwin Machís, who last season played for Granada of Spain, to its ranks. From 2019 to 2022 with the Spanish team, he played 155 games, in which he recorded 33 goals and 25 assists.

4.- Alan Mozo – Chivas

Chivas is the only team in Liga MX that does not allow foreign players, so every transfer window it tries to find the best available local players to strengthen its ranks. For this Apertura 2022, Guadalajara decided to reinforce its defensive line and added right back Alan Mozo from Pumas.

Mozo shone with the capital team in the last two tournaments for his ability to run down the right flank and send crosses to his attacking teammates.

He played 159 games with Pumas and registered two goals and 23 assists, 13 of them in the last tournament.

5.- Vitinho – Atlético de San Luis

Atlético de San Luis opted for youth and signed a 21-year-old Brazilian striker, Vitor Samuel Ferreira, a.k.a. Vitinho, and during his time with Sao Paulo B he captivated with his soccer. He is considered one of the Brazilian jewels of the moment and has scored three goals and provided three assists in eight matches.

He arrives for three years to the institution and is expected to become the benchmark of the attack in this Apertura 2022.
