Favorites
Dustin Johnson (+400 on DraftKings)
We are getting closer to a new LIV Golf event, and once again Dustin Johnson is the main favorite to win it. However, the American comes from showing that he is not perfect as his fifteenth place finish at the last Bangkok Invitational 2022 was his worst position in his entire season on the circuit, although with four consecutive podiums before that, he has shown enough quality for us to believe that he can get back to his feet.
Cameron Smith (+600 on DraftKings)
If Dustin Johnson disappointed in Bangkok, what can be said about Cameron Smith, who finished 41st with a score of four under par in what is his worst performance since joining LIV Golf. Like Johnson, Smith has the pedigree to start as a favorite despite that poor performance, supported by his victory in the Chicago Invitational, so it is expected that he will be able to show a better level in this tournament.
Joaquin Niemann (+800 on DraftKings)
Another favorite who had a poor performance in Bangkok is the Chilean Joaquin Niemann, who finished 20th in the last LIV Golf tournament and who the bookmakers again place as favorite to lift what would be his first trophy in this golf circuit. Prior to that, Niemann finished in the top 5 in Chicago and Boston, and although he faces stiff competition, his first title could come sooner rather than later.
Sleeper Picks
Talor Gooch (+1600 on DraftKings)
A high quality but very inconsistent golfer, Talor Gooch has failed to show his best in his last couple of performances, finishing #20 in Bangkok and #35 in Chicago. Prior to that, Gooch was in the top 10 in every LIV Golf event, and bookmakers are confident he can bounce back on Saudi soil.
Patrick Reed (+2000 on DraftKings)
After finishing outside the top 10 in two consecutive tournaments, Patrick Reed managed a second place finish in Bangkok and fought toe-to-toe with Eugenio Lopez-Chacarra for much of the event. He will hope that was the beginning of his renaissance, as he will be looking to take advantage of this last opportunity to win his first LIV Golf trophy.
Dark Horse
Brooks Koepka (+2500 on DraftKings)
Brooks Koepka was one of the flashiest names to join LIV Golf, but despite his high status in the golf world, the American has yet to make his mark on the new circuit. With four majors to his name, Koepka is still looking to find his best rhythm, and a pair of eighth-place finishes in the last two events could be an indication that we are about to see the best of him.
