Cristiano Ronaldo returned to Manchester United last year, but he did not perform as well as expected, which is why rumors have surfaced about his possible departure this summer. However, the English club does not appear to have any intention of parting with the striker.

According to information provided by ESPN’s Rob Dawson, the “Red Devils” have notified Cristiano Ronaldo and his agents that they do not want to sell him, but the latter have insisted and are looking for other big teams in Europe.

Dawson has insisted that the Manchester United coaching staff, headed by Erik ten Hag, wants to have the Portuguese striker available for next season.

Since the end of the season, it has been said that Christian Ronaldo is wanted by several teams, including Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain and even Real Madrid. But so far neither the team nor the player has come forward to confirm or deny these rumors.

CR7 is interested in playing in the Champions League, and it is something he will not be able to do if he continues with Manchester United, as the Premier League side did not qualify for Europe’s top club competition, and will instead play in the Europa League.

Considering that the Portuguese player is 37 years old and may not have much time left of professional activity, it is understandable that he is looking for a way to put some pressure to leave the institution, as his priority has always been to compete at the highest level.

Manchester, however, has not moved much in this transfer market either, so there is no indication that they are looking for company or a replacement. Like Rob Dawson, BBC Sport’s Simon Stone has reported that Cristiano is non-transferable at the moment.

Cristiano Ronaldo has one year left on his contract with Manchester United, and that is the reason the team is holding on to his tenure. Although the team did not achieve any of the objectives set at the beginning of the season, the Portuguese was one of the highest performers in the squad, scoring a total of 24 goals in all competitions.
