Starting in the final game of this series for the Padres is Blake Snell, who will be hunting for his second win of the month and third overall this season. Snell was effective in his most recent appearance, as he held the Chicago Cubs scoreless for six innings while recording eight strikeouts in a 5-0 victory at home last Monday.
The former Cy Young Award winner has also yet to pick up a win on the road this season, though, his ERA in road games (3.52) is better than what he’s got on the road (4.60). Over his last three starts, Snell has allowed just an earned run on nine this across 17.0 total innings. Rockies players have just a .186 career batting average against Snell.

Dinelson Lamet had a rough go in his last start, as he allowed three earned runs on six hits with two walks given up and four strikeouts in just three innings of a 10-4 home loss to the San Francisco 49ers last Tuesday.
He’s really been struggling on the mound for the entire season thus far, but he’s mostly also used as part of the bullpen. Lament has now shown enough to have Rockies fans trust him. That being said, the Padres are just batting .174 against him all-time, albeit across just 29 plate appearances.
