Favorites
Fabio Quartararo (-225)
The leader of the Drivers’ Championship Fabio Quartararo has had impressive results this year. Most recently, he came in second at the Austrian GP, giving him a total of 200 points in the standings. This French rider who rides a Yamaha motorcycle is our favorite for this weekend’s San Marino GP.
Francesco Bagnaia (+275)
In second place is the most recent MotoGP champion, Italian Francesco Bagnaia. This driver won the Austrian Grand Prix starting second from pole position and scored 25 points with his victory. His total time was 42:14.886. He has won the last five Grand Prix in which he has participated.
Aleix Espargaró (+550)
Our latest favorite is Aleix Espargaró. This Spaniard is second in the Drivers’ Championship and has been on the podium five times this season: four times in third place and once as champion. In the last five races, since the Qatar Grand Prix, he has not finished outside the top 10, which gives him a great chance of being crowned in San Marino.
Sleeper Picks
Enea Bastianini (+6000)
For our sleeper picks we have Enea Bastianini, the Italian who rides a Ducati and this season has won in Qatar, the Grand Prix of the Americas and France. However, he has not been as consistent as the riders mentioned above, having retired on four occasions, and on the other occasions he has been 11th, 10th, 8th and 4th.
Johann Zarco (+8000)
On the other hand, Johann Zarco has not won a GP this year, but is in fourth place in the riders’ championship for his outstanding performance. His results include four podiums (two in third place and two in second place), five positions in the top 10 and only one in 13th place. He has a total of 125 points and in the most recent Austrian GP he came in fifth place.
Dark Horse
Jack Miller (+8000)
Finally, our dark horse is Jack Miller. This Australian rider reached the third place on the podium in the last Grand Prix and joins the group of 4 podiums he has had this season. He has retired only twice and, although he is not the best option to win, he has shown that he has the experience to reach the top places.
JefeBet Prediction
Our prediction is that Frenchman Fabio Quartararo will return to the MotoGP podium, beating his strongest rival at the moment, Francesco Bagnaia. However, it will be a difficult race, as Peco Bagnaia will be in his homeland and that will give him a considerable advantage in terms of confidence and public support. Therefore, Fabio Quartararo will have to excel to win this Grand Prix.
