There are 27 teams qualified for the Qatar 2022 World Cup, but there will be 29 out of 32 once the last round of Concacaf World Cup qualifiers is over; the other three will have to get their pass in repechage.

Since the beginning of the knockout stage it was known that there were 32 places available to participate in the Qatar 2022 World Cup, as it has been done in recent times in the history of the World Cup. Every day the World Cup is closer to start and 84.37% of the teams to the Qatar 2022 World Cup has already classified.

This year’s World Cup is an atypical one in the sense that for the first time it will be held in the final stretch of the second half of the year, unlike the previous ones that were held between the months of June and July. The starting date of the group stage will be November 21, while the final will be played on December 18.

Despite the change of date, football fans are excited by this event that every four years concentrates endless emotions, being able to see elite players looking to conquer the greatest title that a footballer can obtain when representing their country.

The fans of those who are considered the best players in the world, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, can rest assured because they will both be able to see them both enjoy their fifth participation in a World Cup since Argentina and Portugal are part of the teams classified for the Qatar 2022 World Cup. The two stars participated in Germany 2006, South Africa 2010, Brazil 2014 and Russia 2018, and now they will take part in what seems to be the last World Cup participation for both of them.

Which Teams Are Qualified for the Qatar 2022 World Cup?

As Qatar is the host country, they did not need to be part of the World Cup Qualifiers, since they obtained the ticket directly and was the first team to classify to the Qatar 2022 World Cup.

The other 26 teams qualified for the Qatar 2022 World Cup are: Denmark, Brazil, Belgium, France, Croatia, Serbia, Germany, Switzerland, England, the Netherlands, Argentina, Iran, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Japan, Ecuador, Uruguay, Canada, Senegal, Ghana, Cameroon, Morocco, Tunisia, Poland, and Portugal.

There still are two direct places left in Concacaf to complete the 29 teams qualified for the World Cup before the draw that will be held this Friday, April 1.

Wales, Scotland and Ukraine will still have to define the repechage in UEFA. The same must be done by the United Arab Emirates and Australia in the Asian Confederation, which although it is not known which of the two will go they already know that Peru will be the representative of Conmebol in the repechage.

For their part, Solomon Islands and New Zealand, of the Confederation of Oceania, will have to define among themselves who will face the representative of Concacaf in the other playoff.
