Ronaldo Cisneros will leave Mexican football to live his first experience abroad. He will now defend Atlanta United in Major League Soccer.
A few days ago, the rumor began to spread that the Chivas striker was being monitored by an MLS team and that negotiations between the parties involved would begin soon.
The club interested in Ronaldo Cisneros was Atlanta United, a team currently led by the Mexican Gonzalo Pineda, who precisely during his career as a footballer had a stint in Club Deportivo Guadalajara.
The rumors of the arrival of Cisneros to “the five stripes” were confirmed on Monday morning when the official Twitter account of the club published a tweet in which they assured that the team was presenting him.
In the publication they did not place the name, they limited themselves to referring to the origin of the player when placing an emoji of a goat, anticipating that it was the Chivas.
Minutes later, the team issued a message on social networks in which Ronaldo Cisneros was dismissed and wished success in his new stage.
And finally 10 minutes after Tapatío box farewell to the striker, the MLS team confirmed the hiring of the player by welcoming him on social networks. In the message, Atlanta United specifies that the Mexican footballer will arrive on loan.
Ronaldo Cisneros was having little participation in this Clausura 2022 with Chivas, playing only six minutes in two games against Mazatlan and against Juárez, and he even stopped being called up to the first team for the last three games.
He will now compete for a spot at Atlanta United against the Venezuelan forward Josef Martinez, Jackson Conway and Dom Dwye, who also joined the red-and-black institution recently.
