Ryan García kept his word and defeated Dominican Javier Fortuna by chloroform in the sixth round.

The Mexican-American boxer, Ryan García was involved in controversy prior to his last fight against Javier Fortuna, for all the statements he made. For many, “King Ry” was talking too much, since he even Canelo Álvarez and Floyd Mayweather reached for a shot.

The only way to convince that he not only knows how to talk, but also knows how to use his fists, was to win this fight, in which the odds had him as the favorite. Ryan García had already stated that he wanted to knock out Javier Fortuna, and he delivered.
