Bayern Munich announced that it will add a player from Ajax to its lineup in order to strengthen its midfield.
The Bundesliga champion has just confirmed the signing of 20-year-old Dutch player Ryan Gravenberch.
The Teutonic team had set itself the goal of acquiring the midfielder in this transfer market and they succeeded. According to sources, the footballer signed a five-year contract worth 25 million euros, of which 19 million would be paid upfront, and the rest 6 million will be paid in installments.
Ryan Gravenberch is the second player from Ajax to join the German club in recent days, as the first to do so was Moroccan winger Noussair Mazraoui.
The German newspaper Bild had already made a publication in recent days in which it assured that it was a matter of time before it was revealed that Gravenberch would be a Bayern player, since only the player’s signature was missing to seal the contract.
After putting his signature on the contract and going through medical examination, the Dutchman also confirmed his arrival at Bayern with a post on social networks where he showed his clothing with his last name and the year 2027, which is the year in which his association with the Teutonic institution ends.
“Proud to be part of the Bayern family. Ready for all that’s coming and can’t wait to start.”
For its part, the Bundesliga team boasted about its signing on social networks in a video where Gravenberch looks happy sending greetings to the fans of his new team.
