Torneo Apertura 2022 is already taking off in Mexico, and this Day 2 of the Liga MX left us with some very nice goals in matches that were entertaining for fans of both teams and neutrals, and we hope the rest of the campaign continues to bring us gems like the ones we present below in JefeBet.
Relive the Best Goals of Liga MX’s Day 2
5.- Fernando Navarro – Toluca
Fernando Navarro scored one of the early goals in Toluca’s 3-2 win over Atlas. The player made a play in conjunction with Jean Meneses, whom he set up with a filtered pass. After making a cutback in the area, he returned to Navarro, who did not hesitate to make a dry shot that went under the goalkeeper to decree the 2-0 on the scoreboard.
4.- Leonardo Fernández – Toluca
That same match between Toluca and Atlas gave us another wonderful goal that showed why soccer is such a beautiful sport when played correctly and collectively. In a fairly clean move, Toluca moved the ball from midfield with several first-time passes and finished the play with a ball across the box that found Leonardo Fernández, who arrived alone and unmarked to finish to put things 1-0 in his team’s favor.
3.- Luis Chávez – Pachuca
Luis Chávez scored one of those goals that every player dreams of when he struck the ball from outside the box and deposited it in the back of the net to make the score 0-2 in favor of Pachuca. The Cruz Azul goalkeeper managed to make contact with the ball, but it was not enough to deal with the power of the shot.
2.- Alejandro Zendejas – America
Another who scored a great goal from outside the box in Day 2 was Alejandro Zendejas. Zendejas received a pass very well to leave an opponent lying down and in turn put him in front of the opposing goal, and so he took a dry shot that managed to beat the Rayados goalkeeper, who also could have done a little more with a bounce that played a dirty trick on him.
1.- Stefan Medina – Monterrey
The Monterrey vs. América score was opened by Stefan Medida, who with a powerful shot to the angle beat Guillermo Ochoa to put things 1-0 in favor of his team. Unlike Zendejas’ goal, here we can’t criticize anything because the shot went where it is difficult for any goalkeeper to reach.
