Betting on the Washington State Cougars
- Regular Season Record: 10-14
Washington suffered yet another loss last Thursday, falling prey to the USC Trojans on the road, 80-70. The Cougars are now only 5-8 in Pac-12 play and have lost four of their last five games. The lone win over that stretch was a 75-58 victory against the Arizona State Sun Devils on Jan. 28.
Despite their poor performance of late, there is always going to be life for Washington State so long as it has TJ Bamba and Mouhamed Gueye. They are the team’s 1-2 punch. Against the Trojans, Gueye went off for 31 points on 14/21 shooting, though, Bamba only had seven. UCLA is going to be a tough challenge for the Cougars, but they lost by the slimmest of margins to the Bruins last December in the first meeting this season at home, 67-66.
Washington State is 5-4-1 ATS in its last 10 games.
Betting on the UCLA Bruins

UCLA is back to its winning ways after beating the Washington Huskies at home on Thursday. The Bruins entered that game coming off back-to-back losses to the Arizona Wildcats and to the USC Trojans – both at home – so the victory against the Huskies must have felt so good for the Bruins, who are still one of the best defensive teams in the nation.
The Bruins are third in Division I basketball with only 89.6 points allowed per 100 possessions adjusted. They also went to the meeting with Washington ranked 10th in the nation with just 60.6 points allowed per game. Senior guard Jaime Jaquez Jr. led the Bruins in the win over Washington State in December with 20 points while going 10/10 from the free-throw line.
UCLA is 3-3 ATS in its last six games.
