Elena Rybakina vs Simona Halep
Russian-born Rybakina is currently ranked No. 23. She has impressive records of points won on first serve (72%) and break points saved (65%).
Additionally, the 23-year-old athlete has made 44 aces in the five matches she has won so far. With records of 87% of her serves won, the tennis player takes use of her height (1.84 m) to reach the quarterfinals.

This match is undoubtedly a surprise. The No. 2 player (Jabeur) in the world faces the No. 104 (Maria). If Germany’s Tatjana Maria wins the match, she will be the lowest-ranked woman to reach the Wimbledon women’s singles final. On the one side, Maria is 35 years old, has two children, and, as she moved up the charts, she beat the #5 seed, Maria Sakkari, and the #12 seed, Jelena Ostapenko.
Her game is strategic, and her shots have many slice shots that change the speed of the ball and of her opponent.
On the other hand, Jabeur is 27 years old and has won 21 of the last 23 games she has played. Out of these, she has won all of her matches on grass this season. Jabeur plays close to the net with volleys and drop shots.
The series is 2-1 in favor of Jabeur and the Tunisian player is expected to be aggressive, fast and strong. Her shots can easily dislodge Maria, and both will make surprise shots near the net.
