JefeBet App: MLB – Minnesota Twins vs. New York Yankees
New York Mets vs. Pittsburgh Pirates – How many runs will be scored in the game?
The Mets come into this game after losing two consecutive games by a score of 7-1 to the Washington Nationals. This is something that would not surprise much as their offense has been underperforming recently, scoring an average of 3.2 runs per game in their last ten games.
They will have Taijuan Walker, who has allowed three runs or fewer in his last four starts, with three of those seeing him pitch at least 5.0 innings, on the mound. Opposing them will be a Pittsburgh offense that failed to score more than three runs in the three games of their last series against the Blue Jays, getting swept in the process.
Pirates starter Mitch Keller did not even complete 4.0 innings in his last two home starts, but perhaps the Mets’ offense won’t hurt him as much given his current momentum, so it could be a low-run affair.
Pick: 7.

JefeBet App: MLB – Minnesota Twins vs. New York Yankees
How many runs will be scored in the game?
New York’s other team, the Yankees, are also struggling offensively, and their last pair of series against the Angels and Rays saw them average just 2.5 runs per game, this was unheard of for a team that at mid-season was expected to be a World Series contender.
This looks like a good opportunity to get back to their best, as they will be playing at home against a Chris Archer who has allowed 9 total runs in his last two starts, neither of which saw him go all the way to the fifth inning.
Jameson Taillon, the Yankees’ scheduled starter, also had recent performances by allowing three runs in 8.0 innings in his last two starts , although they were against Angels and Athletics, and this game against the Twins will be a tougher test, especially considering that Minnesota scored 19 runs in three games in its last series against an American League East division team (Boston).
We do see this game as having the potential for a much higher score.
Pick: 12.
