‘A La Calle’ Block Party
If you love to dance and want to enjoy an outdoor event, you already know how to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month in New York City. This Block Party is for the whole family, it has been organized by Ballet Hispánico since 2017.
In this celebration, this dance troupe, which has represented Latin artistic expression par excellence for decades, performs live music presentations that are highly entertaining and representative of our Latin heritage.
There is also, of course, a lot of dancing right there in the street. You can take classes for free and you will see not only people of Latino and Hispanic descent dancing, but also people with different cultural backgrounds doing it.
It’s very exciting because that’s what Ballet is all about: bringing the community and neighbors together by watching our dancers and our students dance.
