Selena Quintanilla, or simply Selena, was considered the Queen of texan music and takes the first place in sales in this list for her undisputed Mexican ancestry and also for being the maximum representative of the Chicano culture in the United States, helping to erase the barrier that had been created between Chicanos and Americans and even Mexicans. This beloved and well-remembered singer has sold 10,86 million records by 2022.
