How to be a Latin Lover is one of the best movies to watch in the Hispanic Heritage month on Netflix and that will make you laugh the most.
This play tells the story of Máximo (Eugenio Derbez), a gigolo who had been living comfortably with his sugar mommy for 25 years, until she gets a new, younger “love”. Maximo (Derbez) tries to seek shelter with friends, but they turn their backs on him.
A good comedy, it has many super funny points, I will watch it again.

This film by the great Oliver Stone could not be missing from our list of the best movies to watch in the Hispanic Heritage Month because it has masterful performances by great Hispanic artists like Mexico’s Salma Hayek and Puerto Rico’s Benicio Del Todo, as well as first-time actors, for their time, like Mexico’s Sandra Echeverría.

In this film, Oliver Stone develops the plot from the story of two boys living in Laguna Beach (Ben and Chon), who start a very lucrative home business of marijuana of the highest quality. In this live-action of the beloved show Dora the Explorer, the plot develops with Dora a little older having to face one of the biggest adventures of her life, because after spending most of her life in the jungle with her parents, it’s her turn to go to secondary.
This movie is really funny and fun, I like how Botas is in this movie and I like how he dances when Dora sings while making a well and also the song at the end of the movie is really good and he even danced with it playing.

After spending a short time there, she is kidnapped with a group of classmates, including her cousin Diego (played by Jeffrey Wahlberg). These teenagers arrive in the jungle to rescue Dora’s parents (Eva Longoria and Michael Peña), along with a very funny jungle inhabitant played by Eugenio Derbez.
I saw it recently (in 2022) and I really loved it. I didn’t really like the magic twists they used towards the end but that’s because I really don’t think they needed them at all! The movie was going perfectly until those moments. But at the end of the day, I loved her.
