2022 NFL Week 12 | Predictions, Odds and Betting Previews for all Games

Buffalo Bills (-450) vs Detroit Lions (+340) / Thursday, November 24 / 12:30 PM E.T.

NFL Week 12 Predictions Picks Betting Odds
  • Bills Spread: -9.0.
  • Lions Spread: +9.0.
  • Over/Under: 54.

The NFL’s Week 12 Thursday Night Football tripleheader opens with an interesting matchup between two good offenses, the Bills’ and the Lions’.

Buffalo is coming off a two-game losing streak with a 31-23 win over the Browns that left them in second place in the AFC East and in possession of one of the conference’s wild cards with a 7-3 record. For the second week in a row, the Bills scored at least 30 points, but the difference was that this time they didn’t lose a fumble and the defense allowed just 80 yards on the ground to Cleveland.

Meanwhile, the Lions moved into second place in the NFC North with their third straight win after beating the Giants 31-18 to move to 4-6. Detroit’s good offense scored 31 points for the second straight game, while its defense, considered among the worst in the league, continues to improve by totaling seven turnovers in the last three games and allowing 18 or fewer points in two of those three wins.

Prediction: Over.

New York Giants (+310) vs Dallas Cowboys (-400) / Thursday, November 24 / 4:30 PM E.T.

NFL Week 12 Predictions Picks Betting Odds
  • Giants Spread: +9.0.
  • Cowboys Spread: -9.0.
  • Over/Under: 44.5.

Another interesting engagement next Thursday will be the second clash of the season between the Giants and Cowboys. Both teams have 7-3 records in the NFC East and occupy wild card spots in the National Conference.

New York suffered its second loss in the last three games, losing 31-18 at home to the Lions. It was the first time this season that the Giants conceded more than 30 points to an opponent, while on the offensive side they had a lot of trouble against one of the worst defenses in the league. They lost the ball three times and only ran for 80 yards.

As for the Cowboys, they continue to score points since the return of Dak Prescott, and they beat the Vikings 40-3 on the road. This was the second time in the last three games that Dallas has scored at least 40 points, while its defense had one of the most outstanding performances of the season, with seven catches and just 183 total yards conceded.

Prediction: Over.

New England Patriots (+135) vs Minnesota Vikings (-160) / Thursday, November 24 / 8:20 PM E.T.

NFL Week 12 Predictions Picks Betting Odds
  • Patriots Spread: +3.0.
  • Vikings Spread: -3.0.
  • Over/Under: 42.5

The Thanksgiving Thursday Night Football tripleheader closes with a very interesting matchup between two teams in postseason places, the Patriots and Vikings.

New England has won five of its last six games, three of them in a row, after beating the Jets 3-10 on Sunday to climb into third place in the AFC East with a 6-4 record. In their last two games, Bill Belichick’s team only allowed three points, which was more than enough to compensate for a weak offense in which their quarterbacks have thrown ten more interception than touchdown passes.

For their part, the Vikings are coming off their worst game of the season, being crushed 40-3 at home by the Cowboys. However, they still hold a comfortable lead in the NFC North with an 8-2 record. Minnesota again struggled on the defensive side of the ball, allowing more than 30 points and 450 yards for the second straight game, while the offense left a lot of questions by totaling just 183 yards against a potential postseason opponent.

Prediction: Under.

Denver Broncos (-140) vs Carolina Panthers (+115) / Sunday, November 27 / 1:00 PM E.T.

NFL Week 12 Predictions Picks Betting Odds
  • Broncoss Spread: -2.5.
  • Panthers Spread: +2.5
  • Over/Under: 35.

The Broncos and Panthers will face each other in the NFL’s Week 12 game on Sunday, and both teams are essentially out of the playoff picture.

Denver continues its forgettable season after losing, in overtime and at home, against the Raiders by a 22-16 score. The Denver team thus ranks last in the AFC West with a 3-7 record and consolidates its position as one of the worst offenses in the league, scoring 16 or fewer points in eight of the ten games played. Against that, there’s little that a defense that allowed more than 20 points for only the second time this year can do.

On the Panthers’ side, they lost for the third time in the last four games as they were dominated 3-13 by the Ravens. The defense had another great game holding Baltimore to a mere 308 total yards and allowing 15 points or fewer for the second consecutive week, but the offense once again faltered and after rushing for 232 yards against the Falcons in Week 10, last Sunday they managed only 205 total yards and 36 on the ground.

Prediction: Broncos to win.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-160) vs Cleveland Browns (+135) / Sunday, November 27 / 1:00 PM E.T.

NFL Week 12 Predictions Picks Betting Odds
  • Buccaneers Spread: -3.0
  • Browns Spread: +3.0.
  • Over/Under: 43.5

In another of the games scheduled for Sunday’s NFL Week 12, the Buccaneers will be visiting the Browns.

Tampa Bay is coming off its bye week after two consecutive wins, one of them in Germany against the Seahawks, and leads the NFC South with a 5-5 record. In that game against Seattle, the offensive highlight of the game was that for the first time since the first week, they rushed for more than 100 yards. The defense was once again up to the task, allowing 16 points or fewer for the sixth time this season and only 39 rushing yards.

The Browns, on the other hand, don’t have an encouraging outlook for the rest of the season after losing for the second time in a row, 23-31, to the Bills and falling to a 3-7 record. Despite gaining almost 400 yards against Buffalo’s good defense, this was not enough to overcome a defensive performance that for the fifth time this year, and for the second game in a row, conceded more than 30 points to their opponents.

Prediction: Buccaneers Spread.

Baltimore Ravens (-210) vs Jacksonville Jaguars (+170) / Sunday, November 27 / 1:00 PM E.T.

NFL Week 12 Predictions Picks Betting Odds
  • Ravens Spread: -4.0.
  • Jaguars Spread: +4 .0
  • Over/Under: 44

The Ravens and Jaguars will play each other in an NFL game on Sunday, pitting two teams with very different end-of-the-season outlooks against one another.

The Baltimore team earned its fourth consecutive victory with a 3-13 win over the Panthers to maintain its lead in the AFC North with a 7-3 record. Without a very outstanding offensive display, the Ravens did just enough to defeat a good Carolina defense that wasn’t backed up by their offense, which lost the ball three times and only totaled 205 total yards.

The Jaguars, meanwhile, are coming off their bye week after a 17-27 loss to the Chiefs and sit in third place in the AFC South with a 3-7 record. While the offense scored just 17 points for the third time in its last four contests, the defense suffered the onslaught of the league’s best offense by allowing 486 total yards and 27 points regardless, forcing Kansas City into three turnovers.

Prediction: Ravens Spread.

Houston Texans (+425) vs Miami Dolphins (-600) / Sunday, November 27 / 1:00 PM E.T.

NFL Week 12 Predictions Picks Betting Odds
  • Texans Spread: +12.0.
  • Dolphins Spread: -12.0.
  • Over/Under: 46.

The Texans and Dolphins’ NFL Week 12 battle is one of the games that will be most hotly contested.

Houston appears to have locked up the first pick in the upcoming draft after dropping its fifth consecutive 23-10 loss to the Commanders to leave a 1-8-1 record. The Texans can easily be considered among the five worst offenses in the league, and against Washington they totaled just 148 total yards and scored less than 17 points for the fifth straight game. As for their defense, in four of their last five games, they conceded at least 23 points to their opponents.

Miami, meanwhile, is coming off a bye week and needs a home win to keep its four-game winning streak alive before three straight away games against the 49ers, Chargers and Bills. The Dolphins are among the league’s best offenses with 30 or more points scored in their last three games, while their defense has not been as solid, but has done what it takes to hold leads.

Prediction: Dolphins Spread.

Chicago Bears (+220) vs New York Jets (-275) / Sunday, November 27 / 1:00 PM E.T.

NFL Week 12 Predictions Picks Betting Odds
  • Bears Spread: +6.0.
  • Jets Spread: -6.0.
  • Over/Under: 41.5.

Looking to get back to winning ways after losing their respective games, this Sunday, the Bears and Jets will face each other in an interconference match.

Chicago has lost four in a row after falling 24-27 to the Falcons to finish last in the NFC North with a 3-8 record. The Bears have deserved better results thanks in large part to historic performances by their QB Justin Fields, but the defense has been a complete disaster, allowing 142 points in the last four games played.

As for the Jets, they missed a great opportunity to establish themselves as one of the AFC wild cards by losing for the second time this season to the Patriots, this time 3-10. While Zach Wilson’s starting for this game is in doubt and New York’s offense managed just 103 total yards, the defense continues to be the biggest asset of a team that is shockingly last in its division with a 6-4 record.

Prediction: Bears Spread.

Cincinnati Bengals (-120) vs Tennessee Titans (+100) / Sunday, November 27 / 1:00 PM E.T.

NFL Week 12 Predictions Picks Betting Odds
  • Bengals Spread: -1.5.
  • Titans Spread: +1.5.
  • Over/Under: 42.5

One of the most outstanding games of Sunday’s NFL Week 12 will undoubtedly be the clash between the Bengals and Titans, teams that will meet for the first time since they played in the AFC Divisional Game last season, which ended with a 19-16 victory for Cincinnati.

The Bengals come into the game on a two-game winning streak after defeating the Steelers 37-30 to remain second in the AFC North with a 6-4 record. Cincinnati’s offense comes into the game on a roll after scoring 30 points in four of the last five games including a 537 total yard game. Let’s remember that Tennessee’s defense is one of the most reliable in the entire league.

For that reason, the Titans are comfortably leading the AFC South with a 7-3 record after winning seven of their last eight games, including Sunday’s 27-17 win over the Packers. In the last seven games, no opponent has exceeded 20 points against them and since week two they have not conceded more than 100 yards on the ground. The problem is that their offense is not very powerful, and in the last five games they surpassed 20 points only once.

Prediction: Titans to win.

Atlanta Falcons (+150) vs Washington Commanders (-185) / Sunday, November 27 / 1:00 PM E.T.

NFL Week 12 Predictions Picks Betting Odds
  • Falcons Spread: +3.5.
  • Commanders Spread: -3.5.
  • Over/Under: 43

Next Sunday’s game between the Falcons and Commanders will be one of the most crucial of the day, as both teams are competing for the National Conference’s last wild card.

Atlanta earned an encouraging 24-27 win over the Bears to drop to 5-6 and snap a two-game losing streak. The Falcons took advantage of the opportunities awarded by the Chicago defense and, without much glitz, secured the victory. The problem is that they will lose tight end Kyle Pitts, one of their best receivers, for the rest of the season.

After defeating the Texans 23-10 and moving up to the third wild card in the NFC with a 6-5 record, Washington has won five of their last six games to continue their impressive comeback. Part of the team’s progress was the improvement of the offense under Taylor Heinicke, who was confirmed as the starter over Carson Wentz after leading the team on the hot streak that included taking away the Eagles’ undefeated record and allowing just 148 total yards to Houston.

Prediction: Commanders to win.

Los Angeles Chargers (-165) vs Arizona Cardinals (+140) / Sunday, November 27 / 4:05 PM E.T.

NFL Week 12 Predictions Picks Betting Odds
  • Chargers Spread: -3.5.
  • Cardinals Spread: +3.5.
  • Over/Under: 47.5

In the Week 12 NFL game on Sunday, the Chargers and Cardinals square off in a contest between two groups that are eager to resume their winning ways.

With their second loss in a row, and their second of the season against the Chiefs, the Los Angeles team further complicated their postseason aspirations by falling to 5-5, one game behind the last American Conference wild card. With less than two minutes remaining, the Chargers had a great game against Kansas City, but the defense was unable to stop Patrick Mahomes in time, allowing 30 points for the first time in the previous three games.

Arizona was comfortably defeated by the 49ers on Monday Night Football in Mexico, defeated 38-10, leaving them with a 4-7 record. Without Kyler Murray as the leader of the offense, the Cardinals struggled to get going against San Francisco’s good defense, which led them to score 10 or fewer points for only the second time this year. Likewise, on the defensive side, they could do little against the opponent’s arsenal and Jimmy Garoppolo’s four TD passes.

Prediction: Chargers to win.

Las Vegas Raiders (+165) vs Seattle Seahawks (-200) / Sunday, November 27 / 4:05 PM E.T.

NFL Week 12 Predictions Picks Betting Odds
  • Raiders Spread: +3.5.
  • Seahawks Spread: -3.5.
  • Over/Under: 47.5

Another interesting clash on Sunday will be the one between the Raiders and the Seahawks.

Las Vegas, which has a 3-7 record and is trying to make up for the disappointment it has experienced this season, just defeated the Broncos in overtime, 22-16, to move out of the bottom of the AFC West. Derek Carr and company’s offensive performance was remarkable , totaling 407 total yards against one of the league’s best defenses and with significant injuries on offense. Defensively, the Raiders finally had a good day against one of the weakest offenses in the circuit.

For their part, the Seahawks are coming off a bye week after a 16-21 loss in Germany to the Buccaneers, tying the 49ers for the lead in the NFC West with a 6-4 record. Seattle has been a pleasant surprise thanks to its offensive performance, but it was unable to get on track against Tampa Bay’s good defense, which left them with 283 total yards and just 39 rushing. On the defensive side, for the seventh time they conceded at least 21 points to their opponents.

Prediction: Over.

Los Angeles Rams (+750) vs Kansas City Chiefs (-1200) / Sunday, November 27 / 4:25 PM E.T.

NFL Week 12 Predictions Picks Betting Odds
  • Rams Spread: +14.5.
  • Chiefs Spread: -14.5.
  • Over/Under: 44

The Rams’ Week 12 matchup against the mighty Chiefs, which was anticipated to be a major commitment, might be the final nail in their coffin.

Los Angeles has one of the worst offenses of the season and has four losses in a row after losing 20-27 to the Saints. Only twice have the Rams managed to score more than 20 points in a game and with Cooper Kupp out of action, it looks almost impossible for them to get out of the bottom of the NFC West where they are with a 3-7 record. The defense is still among the best in the league, but without a point guard, it is impossible to win.

On the Chiefs’ side, we could be talking about one of the three best teams in the league and favorites to win the Super Bowl thanks to a fantastic season on offense. Led by Patrick Mahomes, they have four wins in a row and with a record of 8-2 are comfortable leaders of the AFC West after beating the Chargers, their direct rivals, 30-27. For the fourth consecutive week, Kansas City totaled more than 480 total yards and for the fifth time they scored at least 30 points.

Prediction: Chiefs spread.

New Orleans Saints (+300) vs San Francisco 49ers (-375) / Sunday, November 27 / 4:25 PM E.T.

NFL Week 12 Predictions Picks Betting Odds
  • Saints Spread: +8.5.
  • 49ers Spread: -8.5.
  • Over/Under: 42.5

To close Sunday’s daytime schedule, the NFL has prepared an interesting match between the Saints and 49ers.

In the NFC South, considered the worst division in the league, the Saints remain within reach of the Buccaneers despite Sunday’s 20-27 win over the Rams, leaving them with a 4-7 record. After failing to score more than 13 points in their last two games, New Orleans was able to overcome a struggling Rams defense while conceding 20 or fewer points for the third time in the last four games .

The 49ers won their third consecutive victory and climbed to the top of the NFC West with a 6-4 record after defeating the Cardinals, 38-10, on Monday Night Football in Mexico. The San Francisco team gave an offensive masterclass led by Jimmy Garoppolo, who finished with four touchdown passes. The 49ers have surpassed 30 points for the second time in the last three games, while their opponents have only managed to score an average of 16 points against them during that same time.

Prediction: Over.

Gren Bay Packers (+240) vs Philadelphia Eagles (-300) / Sunday, November 27 / 8:20 PM E.T.

NFL Week 12 Predictions Picks Betting Odds
  • Packers Spread: +7.0.
  • Eagles Spread: -7.0.
  • Over/Under: 45.5

Sunday Night Football, the final game of NFL Week 12, between the Packers and Eagles, is sure to be exciting.

The Green Bay team is coming off its sixth loss in the last seven games, as they were outscored 27-17 by the Titans. Now, Aaron Rodgers and company have a tough time dreaming of the postseason as they sit third in the NFC North with a 4-7 record. Part of that responsibility falls on the poor performance of the QB, a management incapable of giving him more tools, and a defense that has allowed 25 or more points in five of the last seven games.

The Eagles, on the other hand, have somewhat lost their flight during the past two weeks after losing their unbeaten game against the Commanders and narrowly defeating the Colts 17-16. Philadelphia remains the leader of the NFC East with a two-game lead and one of the best teams both offensively and defensively. In fact, against Indianapolis, they conceded 17 points or fewer for the sixth time in the last seven games.

Prediction: Under.

[Packers vs Eagles NFL Week 12 full betting preview here]

Pittsburgh Steelers (+125) vs Indianapolis Colts (-150) / Monday, November 28 / 8:15 PM E.T.

NFL Week 12 Predictions Picks Betting Odds
  • Steelers Spread: +3.0.
  • Colts Spread: -3.0.
  • Over/Under: 39.5.

It’s unusual for two negative-record teams to play in a primetime game at this point in the season, but that’s what will happen on Monday when the Steelers and Colts square off in NFL Week 12’s Monday Night Football.

Pittsburgh is coming off a 37-30 loss to the Bengals to settle at the bottom of the AFC North with a 3-7 record. The Steelers are one of the worst offenses in the circuit, and against Cincinnati they surpassed 20 points in a game for the first time this season. On the defensive side, they conceded 35 points or more for the third time this season.

The Colts, on the other hand, have significantly improved since hiring Jeff Saturday as their head coach and came very close to defeating the Eagles before losing 17-16. The offense appears to remain the pending issue for the new head coach as he looks to turn around a team that sits second in the AFC South with a 4-6-1 record. Defensively, the Colts have done the job: opponents have scored only 20 or fewer points against them in four of the last five games.

Prediction: Colts to win.
